The environment

We are committed to continually improving our Environmental Management System’s (EMS) performance, to the prevention of pollution and any adverse effects on the environment in which we live and work. We have set ourselves the following environmental goals:

We maintain ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) certification and ensure continuous improvement in our management systems in order to minimise our impact on the environment as we deliver products and services to customers.
We aim to have zero accidents or emergencies which could adversely affect the environment.


Our people

We are proud of our team and teamwork is core to how we operate. We built and maintain a healthy environment for our team to work and progress with trust from their peer and the management team. We offer flexibility in working arrangements to cater for employees’ outside-of-work requirements whether it is working from home or adapting timetables. We have regular catch up and get together, the latest being the Staff Relay Series in Phoenix Park. We follow to the highest regulatory standards

Industry and product standards

Manepa operates in compliance with all the standards applicable to the HSE, the Irish and international healthcare sector. You can find a list of all product maintenance and validation standards we follow in our Knowledge Centre

Fully accredited tools and engineers

All our validation and calibration staff are trained by an independent body and received the City & Guilds specialist training recognition. Critical measurement and validation equipment used by our engineers is independently calibrated by iNAB accredited organisations.

Waste management certification

We are participating in the WEEE Ireland Compliance Scheme, approved under the European Union Regulations for the environmentally sound management of waste batteries and accumulators. We also follow all government regulations for waste disposal and recycling.

All our suppliers are compliant with the relevant industry and product regulations for decontamination solutions. We are proud to collaborate for more than 40 years with some of our suppliers. We believe that long-term relationships are key to exceeding our customers’ expectations.
